Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan tingkat proactive coping pada mahasiswa tahun pertama dan mahasiswa tingkat akhir di Fakultas Ilmu Keperawatan Universitas Indonesia. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Keperawatan Universitas Indonesia yang berada pada tahun pertama dan tahun terakhir perkuliahan sebanyak 150 orang. Tingkat proactive coping diukur dengan menggunakan alat ukur hail adaptasi dari alat ukur Proactive Coping Inventory (PCI) yang dikembangkan oleh Esther Greenglass. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara tingkatan proactive coping pada mahasiswa tahun pertama dan tahun terakhir Fakultas Ilmu Keperawatan Universitas Indonesia (FIK UI). Selain itu, tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara tingkatan proactive coping pada mahasiswa tahun pertama dan tahun terakhir FIK UI jika dilihat dari perbedaan jenis kelamin. Namun terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara mahasiswa tahun pertama dan tahun terakhir FIK UI jika dilihat dari perbedaan kepemilikan dukungan sosial. Kepemilikan dukungan sosial diukur dari ada atau tidaknya teman dekat/ teman curhat.
This study aimed to determine whether there are differences in the level of proactive coping in the first year and last year student in the Faculty of Nursing, University of Indonesia. Participants of this study were the first year and last year students of the Faculty of Nursing, University of Indonesia. Level of proactive coping was measured using an adaptation instrument developed by Greenglass. The results of this study indicate that there is no significant difference between the levels of proactive coping in the first-year and last year student Faculty of Nursing, University of Indonesia (FIK UI). In addition, there is no significant difference between the levels of proactive coping in the first-year and last year students of FIK UI when viewed from the difference between the sex. But there is a significant relationship between the first-year and last year students of FIK UI when viewed from a difference of social support ownership. |
