Tesis ini membahas tentang perhitungan terhadap nilai perusahaan (value of the firm) yang akan diakuisisi. Umumnya ketertarikan caJon investor muncu1 ketika harga yang ditawarkan atau; sebuah invetasi lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan nilai yang ditawarkarnya {undervalue). Penelitian tesis ini akan menggunakan metode Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) melalui perhitungan Free Cash Flow to Equity (FCFE) dan Free Cash Flow to the Firm (FCFF) untuk mengetahui nilai Matahari Department Store Tbk sebagai target akuisisi dan membuktikan apakah nilai akuisisi yang telah disepakati oleh pihak PT. Matahari Putra Prima Tbk dan Meadow Asia Company Limited bersifat fair, undervalue atau bahkan overvalue. This thesis discusses the calculation of the value of the firm (the value of the firm) to be acquired. Generally, the prospective investor's interest arises when the price offered for a investment is lower than the value it offers (undervalue). This thesis research will use the Discounted Cash Flow method (DCF) through the calculation of Free Cash Flow to Equity (FCFE) and Free Cash Flow to the Firm (FCFF) to assess the value of PT Matahari Department Store as a target acquisition and prove whether the value of the agreed acquisition by the PT. Matahari Putra Prima Tbk and Meadow Asia Company Limited is fair, even undervalue or overvalue. |
