Abstract
Glycidyl Methacrylate (GMA) grafted onto N,N?-Methylenebisacrylamide (NBA)?crosslinked rayon fiber has been modified to 2,3-Dihydroxypropyl Methacrylate (R-NBA-g-2,3-DPM) as herbicide 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid and Paraquatdichloride adsorbent. The optimum temperature, time and NaCl concentration of this modification are 70°C, 10 hours and 1M. The experimental results at various pH showed that R-NBA-g-2,3-DPM has the highest adsorption for 2,4-D. The optimum conditions for the adsorption of 2,4-D compounds obtained at pH 4, time 180 minute and concentration of 400 ppm. Kinetics study showed that adsorption process tends to follow the pseudo second order model.
