AIDS (Acquired lmmuno Deficiency Syndrome) merupakan kumpulan gejala atau penyakit yang disebabkan oleh menurunnya kekebalan tubuh akibat infeksi oleh virus HIV (Human immunodeficiency virus). Sejak di temukan kasus HIV pada tahun 1987 sampai dengan Desember 2012 jumlah kumulatif penderita HIV di Indonesia sebanyak 98.390 kasus sedangkan jumlah kumulatif kasus AIDS sebanyak 42.887 kasus. Berdasarkan kelompok umur, umur 20-29 tahun merupakan kelompok yang paling besar proporsinya yaitu 35,2%, Karena AIDS baru menunjukkan gejala di masa 3 sampai 10 tahun setelah infeksi, maka diperkirakan infeksi HIV telah terjadi pada usia di bawah 20-29 tahun atau pada masa remaja. Kelompok umur remaja merupakan bagian terbesar dari kelompok anak jalanan, sehingga masalah kesehatan pada anak jalanan adalah masalah perilaku remaja yaitu kebiasaan merokok, menggunakan NAPZA, seks bebas dan masalah kesehatan reproduksi seperti Infeksi menular seksual (IMS/PMS) dan HIV/AIDS. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perilaku berisiko terinfeksi HIV pada remaja jalanan di rumah singgah Yayasan Bina Insan Mandiri Kota Depok tahun 2013. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kuantitatif dengan desain potong lintang terhadap 72 responden yang merupakan anak jalanan usia 10-19 tahun yang tinggal di rumah singgah Yayasan Bina Insan Mandiri. Dari penelitian diperoleh 54,2% remaja memiliki perilaku berisiko terinfeksi HIV, responden yang memiliki perilaku berisiko terinfeksi HIV lebih banyak pada umur ≥ 15 tahun yaitu 58,7% dibandingkan dengan responden yang berumur < 15 tahun, responden berjenis kelamin laki-laki memiliki perilaku berisiko terinfeksi HIV lebih tinggi dari pada responden berjenis kelamin perempuan, responden berpendidikan kurang dari 9 tahun sebanyak 60,4% memiliki perilaku berisiko terinfeksi HIV lebih tinggi dibandingkan responden yang berpendidikan ≥ 9 tahun, 51,4% responden memiliki tingkat pengetahuan tentang HIV/AIDS yang baik, 56,9% responden bersikap positif terhadap perilaku berisiko terinfeksi HIV, responden yang tidak terpapar informasi tentang HIV/AIDS lebih banyak yang memiliki perilaku berisiko terinfeksi HIV sebanyak 60,6%, perilaku berisiko terinfeksi HIV yang lebih banyak pada responden yang dipengaruhi oleh teman sebayanya (55,8%)

The research was conducted using qualitative research approach with cross cut design on the 72 respondents who are street children 10-19 years of age living in the halfway house Bina Insan Mandiri Foundation.
