ABSTRAK Penelitian ini ingin melihat bagaimana bingkai pemberitaan atau framing yang dilakukan mediaonline detik.com tentang Pilkada DKI Jakarta Putaran ke-2 tahun 2012 dan bagaimanakonstruksi realitas yang hendak dibangun oleh media online detik.com dalam pemberitaannyatentang Pilkada DKI Jakarta Putaran ke-2 tahun 2012. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatankualitatif dengan paradigma konstruktivisme. Sementara teknik analisis dalam penelitian iniadalah teknik analisis framing model Pan dan Kosicki pada level mikro yaitu anaisis teks.Objek penelitian ini adalah berita yang ditayangkan media online detik.com tetang Pilkada DKIJakarta Putara ke-2 tahun 2012 dengan rentang waktu dari tanggal 20 Juli 2012 sampai dengantanggal 16 September 2012 yaitu periode setelah hasil pilkada DKI Jakarta Putaran ke-1diumumkan sampai dengan masa tenang memasuki pelaksanaan Pilkada DKI Jakarta Putaranke-2 tahun 2012 dilaksanakan.Berdasarkan hasil analisis framing dengan menggunakan Model Pan dan Konsicki, penelitian inimenemukan setidaknya ada 4 frame yang dihadirkan oleh media online detik.com dalampemberitaannya terhadap peristiwa Pilkada DKI Jakarta Putaran ke-2 tahun 2012. Empat frametersebut yaitu frame tentang isu SARA, frame tentang Koalisi Partai vs Koalisi Rakyat, frametentang karakteristik kepemimpinan dan personality Joko Widodo yang sederhana, apa adanyadan merakyat serta frame tentang karakteristik kepemimpinan dan personality Fauzi Bowo yangsarkatis dan cenderung emosional. Dari hasil frame tersebut terlihat bahwa pemberitaan mediaonline detik.com cenderung lebih positif kepada calon gubernur Jokowi dibandingkan dengancalon gubernur Fauzi Bowo. ABSTRACT This research is meant to see how online media detik.com used theframing about the Jakarta District Election of the 2nd Round in the Year 2012 andhow the online media detik.com would like to buils the reality construction in itsreport on the Jakarta District Election of the 2nd Round in the Year 2012. Thisresearch uses qualitative approach with constructivism paradigm. Meanwhile, theanalysis technique of this research is framing analysis technique modeled by Panand Konsicki in the micro level, which is text analysis. The object of this researchis the news aired in the online media detik.com about the Jakarta District Electionof the 2nd Round in the Year 2012. The time period is from July 20th 2012 untilSeptember 16th 2012. It is the period after the result of the election in the 1st roundis released then is continued to the recent moment before starting the election inthe 2nd Round.Based on the framing analysis and using the model of Pan and Konsicki, itis founded that there are at least four frames used by the online media detik.comin its report about the Jakarta District Election of the 2nd Round in the Year 2012.The four frames are first, a frame about the issue of SARA; second, a frame aboutparty coalition versus people coalition; third, a frame about leadership andpersonality characteristics of Joko Widodo – which are simple, humble, and downto earth-; and fourth a frame of leadership and personality characteristics of FauziWibowo – which are sarcastic and emotional. Based on these frames, it is seenthat the reports in the online media detik.com tend to be more positive about JokoWidodo compared to the governor –to – be- Fauzi Wibowo. |
