[ABSTRAK Skripsi ini membahas tentang persepsi masyarakat yang bermukim disekitar Bandara Internasional Soekarno-Hatta terhadap tingkat kebisingan yangberasal dari aktivitas bandara. Persepsi tersebut merupakan gangguan nonauditoryyang meliputi gangguan komunikasi, gangguan psikologis, dan gangguanfisiologis. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitiancross-sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Mei 2012 di KelurahanNeglasari dan Kelurahan Selapajang Jaya, Kecamatan Neglasari, Kota Tangerang.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan proporsi kejadian mengalamigangguan non-auditory antara responden yang tempat tinggalnya bising denganresponden yang tempat tinggalnya tidak bising (p value=0,007). Terdapat pulaperbedaan proporsi kejadian mengalami gangguan non-auditory antara respondenyang berumur ≤12 tahun, 13 sampai 18 tahun, dan ≥19 tahun (p value=0,027).Variabel lain yang bermakna adalah perbedaan proporsi kejadian mengalamigangguan non-auditory antara responden yang sedang menjalani pendidikan baikSD, SMP/ SMA, PT, ataupun bekerja (p value=0,039) dan terdapat perbedaanproporsi kejadian mengalami gangguan non-auditory antara responden yangbekerja dengan pajanan bising dari pekerjaannya dengan responden yang tidakterpajan bising dari pekerjaannya (p value=0,009). Akan tetapi untuk variabelstatus kesehatan tidak ada perbedaan proporsi kejadian mengalami gangguan nonauditory antara responden yang berstatus kesehatan sehat, anak sakit, bapak/ ibusakit, dan ibu hamil (p value=0,205).ABSTRAK This study discusses the perception of the community living around theSoekarno-Hatta International Airport to the level of noise coming from the airportactivity. Perception is a non-auditory disorders that include communicationdisorders, psychological disorders, and physiological disorders. This study was aquantitative study with cross-sectional study design. The research was conductedin May 2012 in the Neglasari and Selapajang Jaya, Tangerang. The results of thisstudy indicate there are differences in the proportion of the incidence of nonauditorydisorders among respondents noisy residence where he lived with therespondent that no noise (p value = 0.007). There are also differences in theproportion of the incidence of non-auditory disorders among respondents aged ≤12 years, 13 to 18 years, and ≥ 19 years (p value = 0.027). Another significantvariable is the difference in the proportion of the incidence of non-auditorydisorders among respondents who are on a good education elementary, junior high/ high school, collage, or work (p value = 0.039) and there are differences in theproportion of the incidence of non-auditory disorders among respondents whoworked with exposure to noise from his job with the respondent that his job is notexposed to noise (p value = 0.009).
