[ABSTRAK Pendidikan mengenai moral sebaiknya dilakukan sejak anak masih berusia dini (Borba, 2001). Borba (2001), mendefinisikan moral sebagai kapasitas individu dalam memahami yang benar dari yang salah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pemahaman pesan moral (kebaikan & toleransi) dalam film seri Upin & Ipin pada anak usia enam sampai delapan tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatankuantitatif, dan metode wawancara untuk menggali lebih dalam mengenai gambaran pesan moral dalam film seri Upin & Ipin pada 30 partisipan anak-anak usia enam sampai delapan tahun. Disain penelitian ini adalah non-experimenal, dengan menggunakan accidental sampling sebagai metode pengambilan partisipan. Hasilpenelitian ini menunjukkan pada partisipan berusia enam sampai delapan tahun dapat menangkap pesan moral (kebaikan dan toleransi), yang terdapat dalam film seri Upin & Ipin.ABSTRAK The education of moral for children should enact since their early age (Borba, 2001). This research aims to see whether the moral messages (kindness and tolerance) in the movie series Upin & Ipin can be adsorp by children aged six to eight years. Thisresearch using quantitative approach and interviews to extract the message in the movie series Upin & Ipin from 30 partisipants of children aged six to eight years. This research is a non-experimental study using accidental sampling as the partisipant-taking method.
