[Nowadays, for about 11,8 million teenagers up to 15 -24 year live with HIV/AIDS in the world. Instead of adults and children, teenagers have high risk to get it. In Indonesia, HIV/AIDS issues increased each year. Lack of genital hygiene information is the reason why the amount of someone who get on HIV/AIDS increase and the teenagers become object that easy to infect. The aint of this research is to get description about level of teenagers knowledgement about genital hygiene related to transmission of HIV/AIDS. The object of this descriptive research is 96 teenagers. The result shows that teenagers have high level of knowledgement about genital hygiene related to transmission of HIV/AIDS. It is caused by their initiative to out about genital hygiene. Besides that, there are many ways to access the information through media that make the teenagers get the right information about genital hygiene., Di seluruh dunia saat ini diperkirakan sebanyak 11,8 juta remaja usia 15-24 tahun hidup dengan HIV/AIDS. Remaja merupakan kelompok usia yang paling berisiko terhadap HIV/AIDS. Di Indonesia, kasus AIDS terus meningkat tiap lahunnya.Akibat minimnya informasi tentang kesehatan reproduksi. maka remaja merupakan kelompok umur yang rentan untuk menderita penyakit HIV/AIDS.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran pengetahuan remaja mengenai kesehatan reproduksi terkait penularan HIV/AIDS. Penelitian deskriptif sederhana ini dilakukan pada 96 remaja. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa remaja mempunyai tingkat pengetahuan yang tinggi mengenai kesehatan reproduksi terkait penularan HIV/AIDS. Hal ini disebabkan karena sebagian besar remaja aktif mencari informasi mengenai kesehatan reproduksi. Selain itu, kemudahan mengakses informasi melalui berbagai media juga turut mendukung remaja dalam mendapatkan informasi mengenai kesehatan reproduksi.] |
