ABSTRAK Angka Kematian Ibu (AKI) merupakan salah satu indikator utama yangmenggambarkan derajat kesehatan masyarakat. Angka kematian ibu jugamerupakan salah satu target yang telah ditentukan dalam Milenium DevelopmentGoals (MDGs). Menurut data SDKI 2012 Angka Kematian Ibu (AKI) meningkatcukup besar yaitu 359 per 100.000 kelahiran hidup dari 228 per 100.000 kelahiranhidup (SDKI 2007). Salah satu penyebab tingginya AKI yaitu masih adanyapersalinan yang ditolong oleh tenaga selain petugas kesehatan (paraji). Menurutlaporan tahunan Puskesmas Sentul tahun 2012 cakupan persalinan yang ditolongoleh tenaga kesehatan hanya 57,03 % dari target 87,50 %.Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional . Pengumpulandata dengan cara wawancara kepada ibu yang pernah melahirkan paling lama 12bulan terakhir. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi faktor apa saja yangberhubungan dengan pemilihan penolong persalinan di Puskesmas SentulKabupaten Bogor. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan status sosial ekonomi danbanyaknya keluhan selama hamil menjadi variabel yang berhubungan secarasignifikan terhadap pemilihan penolongan persalinan. Status sosial ekonomimerupakan variabel yang paling dominan dimana ibu yang status sosialekonominya tinggi 5,4 kali memilih tenaga kesehatan sebagai penolong kesehatandibanding dengan ibu yang status sosial ekonominya rendah setelah dikontrol olehbanyaknya keluhan selama hamil, riwayat ANC, pendidikan ibu, pendidikansuami, dan paritas. ABSTRACT Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) is one of the main indicators that describe thehealth of society. The maternal mortality rate is also one predetermined targets inthe Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). The data collected are theprimary data, obtained by interviewing mother giving birth under 12 month ago.The aim of this study is to identify the trigger of maternity helper selection ofSentul Health Center, District of Bogor. The results obtained from this studyshowed that the socioeconomic status and complaints during pregnancy variableswere significantly associated with the selection of delivery helper, socioeconomicstatus is the most dominant where 5,4 of mother with high socioeconomic statuswith the delivery helper choose medical personnel as their delivery helpercompare with low socioeconomic status, followed by complaints duringpregnancy, history of ANC, education wife, education husband and parity. |
