ABSTRAK Tesis ini membahas mengenai hubungan antara likuiditas saham dan strukturpermodalan serta mempelajari variabel makroekonomi dan variabelmikroekonomi apa saja yang mempengaruhi struktur modal. Untuk variabelmakroekonomi yang diperkirakan dapat mempengaruhi struktur modal danlikuiditas saham perusahaan di Indonesia adalah tingkat inflasi, perubahan GDPdan perubahan IHSG. Sedangkan untuk variabel mikroekonomi yang diperkirakandapat mempengaruhi struktur modal adalah market-to-book, profitability, size danlikuiditas saham. Untuk mengukur struktur modal (leverage) menggunakan debtto asset ratio dan debt to equity ratio. Sedangkan untuk likuiditas saham akandiukur melalui turnover rate. Penelitian ini menggunakan model regresi lineardengan 125 sampel perusahaan-perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di BursaEfek Indonesia selama tahun 2009 sampai dengan tahun 2013. Hasil penelitian inimenunjukkan bahwa tingkat inflasi, perubahan GDP dan IHSG memberikanpengaruh yang signifikan terhadap struktur modal. Untuk market-to-book, danturnover rate memiliki korelasi yang negatif dan signifikan dengan strukturmodal. Sedangkan profitability dan size memiliki korelasi yang positif dansignifikan dengan struktur modal. ABSTRACT This thesis explores the relationship between stock liquidity and capital structureand learn macroeconomic variables and microeconomic variables that influencecapital structure. For macroeconomic variables which can influence the capitalstructure and liquidity of the company's stock in Indonesia are the rate of inflation,changes in GDP and changes in JCI. As for microeconomic variables which caninfluence the capital structure are market-to-book, profitability, size and stockliquidity. To measure the capital structure (leverage) using debt to asset ratio anddebt to equity ratio. As for the liquidity of the stock will be measured by theturnover rate. This study uses a linear regression model with a sample of 125manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during year 2009 to2013 . The results of this study indicate that the rate of inflation, changes in GDPand JCI have significant effect on capital structure. For market-to-book, andturnover rate has a negative and significant correlation with the capital structure.While profitability and size has a positive and significant correlation with thecapital structure. |
