[One of the basic rights of every individual as well as other Indonesian citizens are gettinghealth care through health services. Health is closely associated with the drugs. All the drugsin circulation should be guaranteed safety, efficacy, and quality. Therefore we need a guidethat covers all aspects of production and quality control so that each drug produced alwayscomply with established quality. These guidelines are the guidelines of Good ManufacturingPractice (GMP/CPOB). A pharmacist is a key person in all aspects of the application that arelisted in the GMP. Pharmacists not only requires theoretical knowledge, but also theexperience in the real field. To achieve the requirements, a co-operation with thepharmaceutical industry to conduct practice pharmacist was held. Pharmacist Practice is runfrom the period June 17th to July 12nd, 2013 and August 5nd to 30th 2013 in the PT. AventisPharma., Salah satu hak dasar setiap individu maupun warga negara Indonesia lainnya ialahmendapatkan kesehatan melalui pelayanan kesehatan. Kesehatan sangat erat kaitannyadengan dunia obat-obatan. Semua obat-obatan yang beredar harus dapat dijaminkeamanan, khasiat, dan mutunya. Oleh karena itu diperlukan suatu pedoman yang meliputiseluruh aspek produksi dan pengendalian mutu sehingga setiap obat yang dihasilkan selalumemenuhi ketentuan mutu yang telah ditetapkan. Pedoman tersebut adalah pedoman CaraPembuatan Obat Yang Baik (CPOB). Seorang apoteker merupakan kunci dalam penerapansegala aspek yang tercantum dalam CPOB. Apoteker tidak hanya membutuhkan pengetahuanteoritis, tetapi juga pengalaman bergelut langsung di lapangan. Untuk mewujudkan haltersebut dijalin kerjasama dengan industri farmasi untuk menyelenggarakan praktek kerjaapoteker.
