Praktek Kerja Profesi Apoteker di PT. Novartis Indonesia bertujuan agar para calon Apoteker memahami tugas Apoteker di industri farmasi, khususnya di bagian Drug Regulatory Affairs di PT. Novartis Indonesia dalam proses meregistrasikan obat baru, registrasi variasi produk yang telah memiliki Nomor Izin Edar, dan meregistrasikan ulang produk yang telah habis masa izin edarnya. Sedangkan tujuan dari tugas khusus adalah mengkaji dan menganalisa kesesuaian informasi dan bentuk fisik yang terdapat pada current product PT. Novartis Indonesia dengan bentuk fisik dan informasi yang tercantum pada dokumen registrasi terakhir Badan POM yang telah disetujui, mengetahui berapa banyak current product PT. Novartis Indonesia yang belum memiliki kesesuaian informasi dan bentuk fisik seperti yang terkandung dalam dokumen registrasi terakhir Badan POM yang telah disetujui, serta mencari akar masalah penyebab terjadinya ketidaksesuaian antara informasi dan bentuk fisik yang terkandung pada current product PT. Novartis Indonesia dengan bentuk fisik dan informasi yang tercantum pada dokumen registrasi terakhir Badan POM yang telah disetujui.
