[Berkembangnya sistem informasi dan teknologi informasi (TI) menyebabkan kebutuhan SI/TI pada perusahaan-perusahaan meningkat. Kebutuhan terhadap TI menyebabkan perusahaan-perusahaan harus terus menambah dan memperbaharui perangkat-perangkat atau teknologi baru dari sektor TI sekitar tiap tiga sampai lima tahun. Proses penambahan dan pembaharuan dilakukan karena kebutuhan TI sebagai strategi bisnis membawa manfaat bagi perusahaan. Oleh karena kebutuhan TI yang semakin meningkat, maka perusahaan melakukan perencanaan kedepan agar pertumbuhan atau kebutuhan bisnis akan TI dapat ditangani dengan biaya yang dapat diminimalisir salah satunya dengan melakukan teknologi virtualisasi. Dengan menggunakan kerangka kerja dari TOGAF, penelitian ini mencoba menyusun solusi yang tepat tentang bagaimana merancang infrastruktur adaptif berbasis virtualisasi. Langkah- langkah pada framework TOGAF dilakukan untuk memastikan bahwa solusi yang dihasilkan selaras dengan keperluan bisnis dengan mempertimbangkan keadaan yang ada saat ini. Teknik teknik pengumpulan data untuk menunjang penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dengan pihak terkait dan studi literatur. Data yang telah didapatkan diolah untuk menghasilkan suatu solusi yang efektif untuk SI/TI dari PT.Bukaka Teknik Utama. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah suatu solusi arsitektur SI/IT yang adaptif, efektif dan efisien bagi PT Bukaka Teknik Utama. Dengan menggunakan konsep virtualisasi sebagai solusi teknologi, diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi yang tepat. The need to lead IT companies should continue to add renew or upgrade a device or device - new technology of the IT sector, about every three to five year. Renewal process and the addition is done because of the need of IT as a business strategy to bring benefits to the company. Because of the ever increasing IT needs, the company did plan ahead so that the growth of IT or business needs will be handled at a cost that can be minimized either by doing virtualization technology. With the use of TOGAF framework, this study attempts to construct a perfect solution about how to design an adaptive infrastructure based on virtualization. The steps on the TOGAF framework to ensure that solutions are produced in line with business needs to consider the circumstances that exist today. Techniques of data collection to support this research is observation, interviews with stakeholders and literature study. The data has been obtained is processed to produce an effective solution to IS/IT from PT. Bukaka Teknik Utama. The results of this research is an architecture solution of IS/IT is adaptive, effective and efficient for PT. Bukaka Teknik Utama.
