[ABSTRAK Pertumbuhan pasar otomotif di Indonesia membuat penjualan motormengalami pertumbuhan sehingga produsen motorpun berlomba denganmeningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas produksinya untuk meraih pasar yang besar.Permintaan pasar atas kuantitas motor yang tinggi ini memerlukan dukungan prosesproduksi yang dapat diandalkan. Salah satu bentuk dukungan proses produksi yaitusistem informasi. Untuk memastikan proses produksi berjalan dengan baik untukitulah dibutuhkan laporan produksi yang dapat diakses tepat waktu oleh pengambilkeputusan.Dari hasil pengamatan diketahui bahwa para pengambil keputusanseringkali tidak berada di lapangan sehingga mendapatkan sedikit sekali informasiterkait kejadian di lapangan. Salah satu masalah yang sering muncul adalahmasalah minus produksi. Padahal seharusnya masalah tersebut dapat dicegah olehpengambil keputusan dengan mengetahui informasi rinci mengenai masalah yangterdapat di lapangan sehingga dapat memecahkan masalah sebelum masalah yangsama terulang.Oleh karena itulah pengembangan sistem informasi diperlukan pada sisteminformasi monitoring proses produksi engine dengan menggunakan metodeFramework Analytical System Thinking (FAST) untuk menghasilkan laporanproduksi harian yang lebih cepat dan mudah diakses oleh para pengambil keputusansehingga dapat membantu menghasilkan keputusan yang tepat dan memperkuatsistem kontrol produksi. In order to fulfill the marketdemand of high quantity motorcycle, require the support of a reliable productionprocess. One kind of support that the production process is information systems.To ensure the production process runs as planned need the production of reportsthat can be accessed timely by decision makers.As the observation begin, those the decision makers were not always presentin the field so they gets very little relevant information about the problem in theplant. For example, one problem that often arises is the problem is a minus inproduction quantity that reflected in the high reject rate in May 2013.
