Abstract
Skripsi ini membahas tokoh utama dalam novel Asmarani karya Suparto Brata. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tokoh-tokoh, khususnya tokoh utama dalam novel Asmarani. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitis. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori struktural Luxemburg dan teori tema Panuti Sudjiman. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan karakteristik tokoh yang nakal, polos, suka mencari perhatian, dan kemudian karena peristiwa-peristiwa yang terjadi dalam hidupnya menjadikan tokoh Asmarani wanita yang dewasa.
Thithesis discussed on the main character in the novel Asmarani created by Suparto Brata. The aim of this research is to find out the character, particularry the main character in the novel Asmarani. This research using metodhs descriptove analysis. The basic theory that used is structural theory from Luxemburg and theme theory from Panuti Sudjiman. The result of this research find a naughty, plain, like to get attention, and then, bercause of the occasion that occurred in her lives, Asmarani become figures of a grown-up woman.
