ABSTRACT Clean water needs of Steam Power Plant Muara Karang is large enough so waterrecycle is needed to help fulfill water needs. The discharge is 285 m3/day. Thepurpose of the study is to obtain the results of waste water treatment plant effluentto find the appropriate recycling plan. The recycled water is used to meet theneeds of services, hydrants, and water reserves in Muara Karang power plant.Laboratory test results WWTP effluent Steam Power Plant Muara Karang thatdoes not meet the quality standard of Grade II PP No. 82 Tahun 2001, which isamount 67,5 ppm TSS, BOD at 4,76 ppm and at 82,6 ppm COD so recycling isneeded. Selection of three recycling units selected from the reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration, and microfiltration were conducted with Hierarchy AnalyticalProcess (AHP) with the selection criteria in the form of technology, economy, andenvironment and then with sub-criteria of operational convenience, reliabilityprocess, the cost of construction, operation and maintenance costs, and recoveryproduct . The results of the election showed AHP recycling microfiltration unit isthe right unit to meet the needs of water services, hydrants, and backup with thehighest total score. |
