Transparansi telah menjadi suatu instrumen desain yang telah digunakan olehbeberapa arsitek seperti Le Corbusier dan IM Pei. Phenomenal Transparency adalahsalah satu cara untuk memberikan efek multiplikasi dari sebuah makna di dalam fasadbangunan untuk menciptakan dialog antara bangunan dan pengamat. Studi dariPhenomenal Transparency tidak dapat dipisahkan oleh pengertian tentang sebuahfasad, baik yang kontekstual maupun fasad yang tidak kontekstual. Sebuah fasad,dengan unsur Phenomenal Transparency di dalamnya, akan menjadi sebuah stimulasivisual dengan figur yang bersinggungan serta elemen yang saling berinteraksi. Prosesmengidentifikasi dimulai dengan menganalisis tentang transparansi, kedalaman visual,dan garis garis yang meregulasi sebuah fasad bangunan dalam bentuk FormalAnalysis. Formal Analysis ini diformulasikan dari Villa Garches karya Le Corbusier,baik secara subjektif dan objektif. Formal Analysis ini akan menjadi dasar dari desainyang berhubungan dengan proporsi, ritme, kedalaman, dan motif arstiektural yangnantinya akan mengedepankan artistry dan keorisinalitas matematikal dari sebuahkarya fasad.

Transparency has been used as an instrument of design by several architects in thepast by the likes of Le Corbusier and IM Pei. Phenomenal Transparency is a way toconvey multiplication of meaning in the façade to create a dialogue between theobserver and the building. The study of phenomenal transparency is inseparable fromthe understanding of façade, whether a contextual or autonomous façade. A façade,along perception with Phenomenal Transparency embedded, is expected to stimulatevisually with its overlapping figures and interpenetrating elements. The process ofdissection begins with identifying transparency, visual depth, and regulating lines of aproject in the form of formal analysis. Formal analyses are drawn from LeCorbusier?s Villa Garches, both subjectively and objectively.
