 Abstrak

[ABSTRAK
Penggunaan bahan tambahan pangan pada makanan merupakan hal yang lazin dilakukan oleh pelaku usaha di bidang pangan. Ketentuan mengenai bahan tambahan pangan oleh Pemerintah kini diatur dalam Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan
No. 033 Tahun 2012 Tentang Bahan Tambahan Pangan. Namun sayangnya, masih ditemukan pelaku usaha yang melanggar ketentuan penggunaan bahan tambahan pangan tersebut. Ditinjau dari Undang-Undang Nomor 8 Tahun 1999 Tentang Perlindungan Konsumen, hal tersebut merupakan pelanggaran terhadap hak-hak konsumen, namun sayangnya banyak konsumen yang tidak mengetahui hak-haknya tersebut. Sehingga, penggunaan zat yang yang dinyatakan dilarang
dan berbahaya sebagai bahan tambahan pangan pada makanan dapat dikatakan sebagai sebuah perbuatan melanggar hukum yang dapat dikenakan sanksi.

;The use of food additives in foods is a common habit do by the food
entrepreneurs. Provisions regarding addictives by the Government now is set in a
regulation of the Minister of health no. 033 in 2012 About Food Additives. But
unfortunately, still found entrepreneurs that violates the terms of use of the food
additives. In terms of Act No. 8 of 1999 on the protection of consumers, it is a
violation of the rights of consumers, but unfortunately there are still consumers
who do not know the rights they have. Thus, the use of substances that are
declared prohibited and dangerous as food additives in foods can be declared as
