[Persepsi positif atau negatif ibu tentang perkembangan sosial dan emosional anak berbeda-beda disetiap wilayah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran persepsi ibu tentang perkembangan sosial dan emosional pada anak di PAUD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif sederhana dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Pengambilan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner kepada 96 responden yang memiliki anak usia 3-5 tahun di PAUD di Kelurahan Abadijaya Kecamatan Sukmajaya, Depok dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 55,2% responden memiliki persepsi positif tentang perkembangan sosial dan emosional pada anak. Dengan demikian, persepsi ibu tentang perkembangan sosial dan emosional hampir seimbang karena selisih persentase persepsi positif dan negatif hanya 10,4%. Rekomendasi untuk penelitian selanjutnya adalah mengidentifikasi hubungan karakteristik ibu dengan persepsi tentang perkembangan sosial dan emosional anak usia prasekolah di PAUD;Mother's perception positive or negative about the child's social and emotional development is different in each region.
