Abstract
Skripsi ini membahas Surat Kontrak Kalimantan No.7 yang penulis temukan di Arsip Nasional Republik Indonesia. Surat Kontrak Kalimantan No.7 merupakan surat perjanjian yang diberikan VOC, sekutu kesultanan Pontianak, kepada kerajaan Mempawah pada abad ke-18. Surat Kontrak Kalimantan No.7 diteliti menggunakan metode edisi teks kritis agar kandungan yang terdapat pada SKK7 dapat dipahami. Setelah dilakukan edisi teks kritis, analisis terhadap format dan struktur Surat Kontrak Kalimantan No.7 dilakukan untuk menambah wawasan pembaca. Selain itu, analisis di bidang kebahasaan dan sejarah juga penulis lakukan untuk dapat mengetahui kebahasaan serta fakta sejarah kerajaan Mempawah di masa lampau.
......This mini thesis discusses about Text Edition and Analysis of the History of the Kingdom of Mempawah in a Letter of Borneo Contract No. 7. The author discovered the letters contract at Arsip Nasional Republik Indonesia. The Letter of Borneo Contract No. 7 was given by VOC, Sultanate of empire of Pontianak, to the empire of Mempawah in 18
th century. The Letter of Borneo Contract No. 7 will be researched by critical text edition method so that the content contained on that letter can be understood. After doing a critical text method, the author analyse the format and structure of a Letter of Borneo Contract No. 7 to increase the information about the letter content. In addition, the author also analyse the field of literary and history fact about at Emire of Mempawah in the past.
