Abstract
ABSTRAK
Skripsi ini membahas deskripsi mengenai salah satu nilai yang dijunjung tinggi di Jepang yang bernama omoiyari. Nilai omoiyari menjadi landasan bagi orang Jepang dalam bertindak. Omoiyari diperlukan untuk membentuk manusia yang matang secara moral. Menurut teori omoiyari yang dikemukakan oleh Takie Sugiyama Lebra, nilai omoiyari memiliki lima bentuk yang wujudnya dapat dilihat dalam novel berjudul Madogiwa no Totto-chan. Dari hasil analisis dapat diketahui bahwa omoiyari tercermin menjadi empat tingkah laku seperti memelihara konsensus, mengoptimalkan kenyamanan, bersifat timbal balik, dan merasa bersalah.
ABSTRACT
This thesis discusses the description of one of the values upheld in Japan named omoiyari. Omoiyari value becomes the basis for the Japanese people in the way they act. Omoiyari is required to establish a morally mature human. According to the theory of omoiyari by Takie Sugiyama Lebra, omoiyari value has five forms that can be seen in the Madogiwa no Totto-chan novel. From the analysis, it can be seen that omoiyari reflected in four behaviors such as maintaining consensus, optimizing comfort, reciprocal, and feel guilty
