[ABSTRAK Pelaksanaan uji kompetensi program diploma kebidanan dilaksanakan untukmengukur sejauh mana kualitas lulusan dalam memiliki pengetahuan,keterampilan dan sikap professional sebelum menjalankan tugas dalammemberikan pelayanan kesehatan. Penelitian ini ingin mengetahui tentang faktorfaktoryang berhubungan dengan nilai uji kompetensi menurut akreditasi, statuskepemilikan dan wilayah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dankualitatif. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan rata-rata nilai uji kompetensiberdasarkan akreditasi dan wilayah. Disarankan pula agar adanya penyelasaransubstansi uji dengan kurikulum, perlunya persamaan garis besar kurikulum disetiap institusi pendidikan mengingat di beberapa institusi yang menggunakankurikulum berbasis kompetensi (KBK) akan lebih unggul dalam kompetensipraktek (knows how, show how) sedangkan di institusi yang menggunakankurikulum konvensional justru sebaliknya, serta pengendalian mutu terhadapinstitusi agar dapat menghasilkan lulusan yang berkualitas. This research seeks to find factors related to scorefrom competenceis examination based on the acreditation status, the ownershipand the location of the midwifery academy. This research uses quantitative andqualitative approach. The result shows that there is difference in the average scorefrom the competencies examination based on the accreditation and location of theacademy.
