Abstract
ABSTRAK
Tesis ini membahas analisis faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan pelaporan insiden keselamatan pasien pada petugas sharp end di instalasi MPE/Rehabilitasi, instalasi Farmasi dan instalasi Laboratorium RS X. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain potong lintang dan penelitian kualitatif. Hasil penelitian didapatkan faktor yang berhubungan dengan pelaporan inisiden keselamatan pasien adalah profesi perawat, umur dan instalasi dengan profesi perawat adalah faktor yang paling berhubungan. Pada penelitian kualitatif didapatkan hasil bahwa peran pimpinan dan manajemen (blunt end) memiliki peran yang cukup besar sebagai pendorong dalam upaya keselamatan pasien yang dilakukan oleh petugas di bagian depan (sharp end).
ABSTRACT
This research describes the analysis of factors associated with the reporting of patient?s safety incident(s) by the ?sharp end? clinical staff at the MPE/Rehabilitation, Pharmaceutical and Laboratory units at Hospital X. This research used quantitative cross sectional method followed by qualitative approach. The results show that factors associated with the reporting of patient?s safety incidents are a) the profession of clinical staff, b),the age of clinical staff and the origin units of the patient?s safety incident report. The qualitative method shows that the leadership and hospital management of the ?blunt end? is the driving force for the clinical staff report the patient?s safety incident (s).
