ABSTRAK Indonesia sebagai negara dengan posisi skill intensive, perlu memperhatikanpengelolaan perguruan tinggi. Standardisasi dan pengembangan proses pendidikandi perguruan tinggi sangatlah penting. Hal tersebut dapat diwujudkan melaluiimplementasi total quality management. Langkah awal menyukseskan totalquality management perguruan tinggi adalah prinsip 5-S dan ISO 9000. Banyakkesamaan antara persyaratan standard sistem manajemen mutu ISO 9001 denganprinsip 5-S. Dengan demikian, integrasi kedua sistem tersebut di perguruan tinggisangat potensial untuk dilakukan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada perguruan tinggiProgram Diploma Institut Pertanian Bogor. Implementasi integrasi prinsip 5-Sdengan persyaratan ISO 9001:2008 menggunakan metode Analytical HierarchyProcess, Crosstabulation-Correlation, serta Importance Performance Analysis.Hasil penelitian ini adalah tingkat kepentingan (prioritas) prinsip 5-S padapersyaratan ISO 9001:2008, kemudian diketahui juga keeratan hubungan (nilaikorelasi) antara masing-masing prinsip 5-S dengan persyaratan ISO 9001:2008,dan selanjutnya mengetahui hasil evaluasi kinerja implementasi integrasi sistemtersebut di perguruan tinggi. ABSTRACTIndonesia as a country with intensive skill positions, needs to pay attention to themanagement of colleges. Standardization and development of higher educationprocess are very important. This can be achieved through the implementation oftotal quality management. The initial step to achieve total quality management inhigher education is the principle of 5-S and ISO 9000. There are a lot ofsimilarities between the requirements of the quality management systems standardof ISO 9001 and 5-S principles. Thus, the integration of both systems in highereducation is very potential to be implemented. This research was conducted atcollege Diploma Programme, Bogor Agricultural University. The implementationof 5-S principle integration with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 usedAnalytical Hierarchy Process, Crosstabulation-Correlation and ImportancePerformance Analysis. The results of this research shows the importance level(priority) of 5-S principles on ISO 9001:2008 requirements. It is also found outthat there is close relationship (correlation value) between each 5-S principle andISO 9001:2008 requirements, and the results of the performance evaluation of theimplementation of the integration system in college. |
