Fenomena gunung es dan window period yang dimiliki oleh kasus HIV/AIDSmenjadi salah satu alasan kuat dibutuhkannya upaya penanggulangan HIV/AIDSyang paripurna dan tepat sasaran, oleh karena itu sistem informasi eksekutifKomisi Penanggulangan AIDS (KPA) Kota Depok memegang peranan didalamnya, tentunya sistem ini perlu dukungan sistem pencatatan dan pelaporanyang baik , berjalan lancar, berjenjang dan berkesinambungan.Membangunsistem informasi eksekutif KPA Kota Depok adalah upaya menyediakaninformasi yang berkualitas bagi para pimpinan KPA Kota Depok, sebagaiinstrumen pendukung pengendalian dan penilaian sehingga dapat mengambilkebijakan dan tindakan yang tepat dalam rangka menciptakan lingkungan yangkondusif untuk upaya penanggulangan AIDS di Kota Depok. Prototype Sisteminformasi Eksekutif ini dikembangkan dengan SDLC (System Development LifeCycle) dengan model iterative dan incremental, dibangun dengan berbasis webdan database, menggunakan bahasa program: PHP, dengan database:mysql.Memungkinkan prototype ini dapat dikembangkan terus menjadi lebih baik.
