[ABSTRAK Tesis ini membahas tentang fungsi edukasi dari museum. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini mengidentifikasikan bahwa sangat sedikit program edukasi untuk pengunjung yang ada di Museum Olahraga Nasional, padahal salah satu tanggungjawab museum adalah pelayanan edukasi terhadap masyarakatnya. Pembahasan dalam penelitian ini berupaya untuk membuat dan merancang suatu program edukasi yang sesuai dengan keadaan dan situasi yang ada di Museum Olahraga Nasional. Bentuk program edukasi Museum Olahraga Nasional perlu menggunakan teori pendidikan. Teori belajar Kontruktif digunakan untuk mengaplikasikan program edukasi di Museum Olahraga Nasional. ABSTRACT This thesis discusses the educational functions of the museum. This research is qualitative. The results of this study indicated that very few educational programs for visitors at the National Sports Museum, but the museum is one of the responsibilities of educational services to its citizens. The discussion in this study seeks to create and design an educational program that is appropriate to the circumstances and situations that exist in the National Sports Museum. Form of educational program of the National Sports Museum will need to use the theory of education. Constructive learning theory is used to apply the educational programs at the National Sports Museum.;This thesis discusses the educational functions of the museum. This research is qualitative.
