Kepatuhan perawat dalam melaksanakan Standar Prosedur Operasional (SPO) mencegah cedera pasien dari jatuh perlu ditingkatkan untuk meningkatkan aspekkeselamatan pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan pengawasan kepala ruang menurut persepsi perawat pelaksana dengan kepatuhanperawat dalam melaksanakan SPO mencegah cedera pasien dari jatuh. Rancangan penelitian adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectionalpada141 perawat yang dipilih dengan teknik proportional sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada hubungan yang bermakna antara pengawasan kepalaruang dengan kepatuhan perawat dalam melaksanakan SPO mencegah cedera pasien dari jatuh (p< 0,001: OR 11,529; CI 5,231-25,410). Selain pengawasan kepala ruang, faktor yang berhubungan dengan kepatuhan perawat dalammelaksanakan SPO mencegah cedera pasien dari jatuh adalah masa kerja dan motivasi. Kepala ruang lebih meningkatkan pengawasan secara berkala,terprogram dan terus menerus agar perawat pelaksana selalu patuh dalam melaksanakan SPO mencegah cedera pasien dari jatuh.;

Nurses' Compliance in operational procedure standard implementation in preventing patient from fall need to be improved in order to improve patient safety. The purpose of this study is to examine the correlation between head nurse controlling role based on nurse perception and nurses' compliance in operationalprocedure standard implementation in preventing patient from fall. This is descriptive cross sectional study recruited 141 nurses as respondent based on ··proportional sampling technique. The result shows there was significant correlation between head nurse controlling role and nurses' compliance inoperational procedure standard implementation in preventing patient from fall(p <0,001: OR 11 ,529; CI 5,231-25,41 0). Beside head nurse controlling role, working experience and nurse motivation also as factors that influence to nurses' compliance in operational procedure standard implementation in preventingpatient from fall.
