Tesis ini adalah studi kasus bagaimana ide investasi yang berasal dari karyawan dapat bertransformasi menjadi suatu proposal proyek investasi dengan bantuan opini subjektif dari karyawan lain di perusahaan yang sama. Hasil studi menunjukkan pengumpulan opini subjektif dengan variasi metode kualitatif dapat membantu mentransformasikan ide karyawan tersebut menjadi suatu perkiraan nilai ekonomis. Namun penggunaan opini subjektif ini menyebabkan problem informasi asimetris. Problem informasi asimetris dapat terjadi antara karyawan penggagas proyek investasi sebagai agen dan manajemen sebagai pemegang kepentingan. Dan problem informasi asimetris juga dapat terjadi antara karyawan penggagas proyek investasi sebagai pemegang kepentingan dan karyawan lain sebagai agen. Evaluasi terhadap proposal proyek investasi dapat mengurangi problem informasi asimetris tersebut. Pada penelitian ini model stage gate (Cooper, Robert G., 2008) dapat membantu menggambarkan sejauh mana model intertemporal capital budgeting (Roper, Andrew H. & Ruckes, Martin E., 2012) sesuai dengan kondisi pada penelitian. Pada penelitian ini kondisi informasi asimetris masih belum mendekati sesuai dengan model intertemporal capital budgeting, yaitu terjadi akibat perbedaan pandangan terhadap prospek investasi melainkan kondisi informasi asimetris masih terjadi pada faktor-faktor yang lain yang menentukan. This thesis is a case study of how investment ideas from employees can be transformed into an investment project proposal with help of the subjective opinion of the other employees in the same company. The study shows the variation of collecting subjective opinion with qualitative methods can help transform the employee idea into an estimate economic value. However, the use of subjective opinion causes asymmetric information problems. Asymmetric information problems can occur between employees initiators of the project investment as an agent and management as an stakeholders. Also, asymmetric information problems can occur between employees initiaors of the project investment as an stakeholders and other employee as an agents. Evaluation of investment project proposal can reduce the asymmetric information problems. At this research stage gate model (Cooper, Robert G., 2008) can help illustrate the degree to which intertemporal capital budgeting model (Roper, Andrew H. & Ruckes, Martin E., 2012) in accordance with the conditions of the study. In this study the condition of asymmetric information still has not been similar in accordance with the intertemporal capital budgeting model, which occurs as a result of different views of the the investment prospects, but the asymmetric information condition still occurs at others factors that determine. |
