Abstract
Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh SNI Ban terhadap ekspor ban Indonesia pada negara tujuan. Pengaruh ini ditentukan oleh apakah SNI Ban berlaku lebih dulu daripada standar negara tujuan dan sebaliknya serta waktu ketika SNI Ban dan standar negara tujuan sudah berlaku. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan data dari 41 negara dalam 17 tahun dan diestimasi dengan model fixed effect. Hasilnya, pemberlakuan SNI Ban tidak mempengaruhi ban mobil penumpang dan truk ringan, meningkatkan ekspor ban sepeda motor dan menurunkan ekspor ban truk dan bus. Hal ini karena dampak SNI Ban tergantung kepada sumber acuan pembuatan SNI Ban tersebut dan permintaan dalam negeri.
This paper analyses the effect of SNI Tyre on Indonesian trade. These effects depend on whether SNI Tyre come into force before trade partners tyre standard and vice versa and also if SNI Tyre and trade partners tyre standard already into force at the same period. The analysis conducted using data from 41 countries in 17 years and estimated using fixed effect model. As results, SNI Tyre is not affecting export on motor cars and light truck, promoting export on motorcycle tyre and showing negative sign on truck and buses tyre. These differences occur because the effect of SNI Tyre depends on SNI Tyre references and domestic demand.
