Tesis ini membahas permintaan Diaspora Indonesia kepada pemerintah mengenaikewarganegaraan ganda tidak terbatas dimana sistem hukum Indonesia saat inihanya mengakui dwi kewarganegaraan terbatas hanya untuk anak-anak sampaimereka berusia 18 tahun dan harus memilih kewarganegaraan setelah itu. Tujuandari penulisan ini adalah untuk melihat dampak positif dan negatif daripermintaan dwi kewarganegaraan Diaspora Indonesia dilihat dari perspektifkeimigrasian serta bagaimana solusi dari dampak negatif terhadap politik hukumdwi kewarganegaraan. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif dengan desaindeskripsi. Model analis penelitian ini menggunakan sejumlah pertanyaan yangmemuat unit analis yang menjadi dasar dari pengumpulan data. Informan dalampenelitian ini terdiri dari pembuat kebijakan dalam bidang kewarganegaraan dankeimigrasian. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan KebijakanKewarganegaraan Ganda merupakan pilihan strategis untuk mengakomodasikebutuhan para Diaspora untuk dapat berperan aktif dalam pembangunan sosialekonomi Indonesia, terutama melalui kontribusinya yang besar di bidangekonomi, perdagangan, investasi, alih teknologi, pendidikan dan pariwisata.
ABSTRACT
This thesis disserts about the inquiry from Indonesian Diasporas towards thegovernment on the subject of unlimited double citizenship whereas IndonesianLaw at the moment only recognizes limited double citizenship for children untilthey turn 18 years old and have to choose which nationality they want after. Thepurpose of this thesis is to see the positive and negative impact of the inquiry ondouble citizenship from the Indonesian Diasporas viewed from Immigration?sPerspective and how to solve the negative impact towards Law Politics of doublecitizenship. This research is a qualitative type with a descriptive design. AnalystModel of this research uses a few questions that contains analyst unit whichbecomes the foundation of the data accumulation. The informant of this researchconsists of policy-makers in the area of citizenship and immigration.
