Abstract
Tesis ini tentang Diplomasi hip hop Muslim Amerika Serikat (AS) di Indonesia melalui pengiriman duta diplomasi Remarkble Current dan Native Deen. Diplomasi hip hop memberikan pendekatan yang lebih luwes, rileks dan terbuka. Objek vital dari pendekatan diplomasi ini adalah anak-anak muda yang memiliki peran strategis dalam membangun generasi akan datang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan berupa library research dan analisis data melalui metode kualitatif dari sumber pustaka serta in-depth interview terhadap narasumber. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hip hop memberikan kesan namun secara spesifik program ini belum mampu melakukan perubahan tradisi atau pandangan objektifitas anak-anak muda yang sejauh ini masih menjaga tradisi dan budaya patuh atas kiyai, yang menjadi simbol keagamaan di tengah-tengah masyarakat.

This Thesis is about United States (US) Muslim hip hop diplomacy in Indonesia through diplomacy with Remarkable Current and Native Deen as ambassadors. Hip hop diplomacy provides a more flexible approach, relaxed and open. Vital object of this diplomatic approach is young children that have a strategic role in building future generations. The method used this study involved library research and data analysis using qualitative methods from literature sources as well as in-depth interviews with informants. The results of this study, hip hop diplomacy gives the impression that this program is not able to change the traditional view regarding issues of objectivity or those young children who have so far been keeping the tradition and culture obeys the Imam, who became a religious symbol at particular society.
