[ABSTRAK Tuberkulosis merupakan salah satu penyakit menular yang banyak dialami oleh masyarakat perkotaan. Rentannya masyarakat perkotaan terhadap kejadian tuberkulosis salah satunya dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan perkotaan yang padat dan lembab. Tuberkulosis tidak hanya memberikan dampak fisik terhadap penderitanya, akan tetapi berdampak pula terhadap keadaan psikososial. Masalah psikososial yang sering muncul terkait penyakit tuberkulosis adalah ansietas. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah melakukan analisis evidence based mengenai teknik relaksasi khususnya tarik napas dalam dan distraksi dengan mendengarkan musik untuk mengatasi ansietas pada penderita tuberkulosis. Hasil dari pemberian teknik relaksasi pada klien dengan tuberkulosis terbukti efektif untuk menurunkan ansietas yang dideritanya. Rekomendasi penulisan ini adalah perawat perlu mengajarkan teknik relaksasi kepada klien tuberkulosis dengan ansietas sedini mungkin agar proses penyembuhan klien menjadi lebih optimal. ABSTRACT Tuberculosis is one of the infectious disease that is often happened in urban communities. Vulnerability of urban communities on the incidence of tuberculosis is affected by dense urban environments and moist. The disease has an impact on the overall well-being of the patient, which is affecting not only the physical impact but also psychosocial. Anxiety is one of the psychosocial problem that is often related to the disease. The purpose of this paper is to analyze evidence based on relaxation techniques in particular relaxation breathing exercise and distraction especially listening music to overcome anxiety in patients with tuberculosis. The results of the intervention in these patients showed that the intervention is effective to reduce anxiety.
