Abstract
Nyeri merupakan salah satu keluhan dominan yang sangat mengganggu klien dengan kanker payudara metastasis tulang belakang hingga mengganggu aktivitas dan istirahat klien. Asuhan keperawatan dilakukan pada tanggal 7 Mei hingga 2 Juni 2014 untuk meningkatkan kenyamanan dan keselamatan klien. Penulisan ilmiah ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi efektifitas implementasi tindakan mandiri keperawatan terutama pada masalah nyeri kronis, risiko cedera, dan hambatan mobilitas fisik. Asuhan keperawatan yang diberikan berupa teknik relaksasi napas dalam, latihan pergerakkan sendi, dan penggunaan orthosis. Setelah dilakukan implementasi didapatkan hasil yang positif bagi klien. Risiko masalah yang mungkin terjadi pada klien tidak terjadi dan tidak terdapat perburukan pada kondisi klien.

Pain is one of the main problems perceived by breast cancer patients with spinal metastases that interferes with client?s activity and rest. Nursing care was conducted on May 7 to June 2, 2014 to increase the comfort and safety of clients. This report aims to identify the effectiveness of the implementations of nursing, especially on the chronic pain, risk of injury, and impaired physical mobility. The implementation given are relaxation techniques, range of motions exercises, and the use of orthosis. There are positive results from the implementation. The risk of problems that may occur on the client did not happen and there is no deterioration in the condition of the client.
