[Masalah kekurangan volume cairan dan elektrolit sebagian besar terjadi pada anakdengan penyakit diare. Anak yang mengalami kekurangan volume cairan danelektrolit memerlukan konservasi untuk dapat beradaptasi dalam memperbaikikondisi tubuhnya sehingga dapat mencapai proses penyembuhan secarawholeness. Karya ilmiah akhir ini membahas tentang aplikasi model konservasiLevine dalam pengelolaan asuhan keperawatan pada anak dengan kekuranganvolume cairan dan elektrolit. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus, dimanaterdapat lima kasus yang diaplikasikan dengan menggunakan model konservasi.Hasil pengkajian dengan menggunakan prinsip konservasi, pada kelima kasussemua mengalami trophicognosis kekurangan volume cairan dan elektrolit.Intervensi yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut yang utama adalahpemberian dan pemantauan asupan cairan dan elektrolit secara adekuat. Hasilpengamatan respon organisme pada akhir perawatan menunjukkan empat kasusmampu beradaptasi dan mencapai wholeness, sedangkan satu kasus tidakmencapai wholeness. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh keberhasilan dalam mengatasitrophicognosis, yaitu ada yang sudah teratasi, belum teratasi tetapi sudahmenunjukkan perbaikan, dan ada juga yang tidak teratasi. Thus, the wholeness healing is achieved. This study is aims to clarifythe application of Levine Conservation Model in nursing care of children withfluid and electrolyte deficit. To accomplish this study, case study method wasconducted with five cases. Assessment with conservation principle found that allcases are trophicognosis deficit of fluid and electrolyte. The main intervention isgiving and observing intake fluid and electrolyte tightly. In the end of treatment,the result showed that four of five cases were able to adapt and achieve thewholeness healing.
