ABSTRAK Skripsi ini membahas analisa pengaruh pemilu pimpinan nasional terhadap kinerja indeks sahamdi Indonesia, India, Thailand, dan Filipina. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptifmengenai pergerakan harga saham yang disebabkan oleh pengumuman atas informasi baru padamasa sebelum dan sesudah pemilu. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa perubahan indekssaham dipengaruhi oleh faktor figur dari calon pemimpin negara. ABSTRACT This thesis discusses the analysis of the influence of national leader election on stock marketindices in Indonesia, India, Thailand, and the Philippines. This research is qualitative descriptiveabout the stock market index movement caused by the announcement of new information during,before, and after election period. The result of this study concludes that the movement of stockmarket indices caused by the election is affected by the figure of the new leader. |
