[ABSTRAK Studi ini adalah penelitian deskriptif analitik kuantitatif dengan pendekatan crosssectional, bertujuan menganalisis hubungan aspek fisik danaspek psikososialdengan status hipertensi lansia di Poli Lansia Pusat Kesehatan MasyarakatKecamatan Jatinegara Tahun 2014. Rata-rata tekanan sistolik adalah 149,47mmHg,terendah 130 mmHg dan tertinggi 210 mmHg. Ujibivariat menunjukkanada hubungan yang signifikan antaraaspek fisik, usia, komplikasi dan lamahipertensi dengan status hipertensi pada lansia.Uji multivariat secara bermaknamenunjukkan bahwa faktor penentu menurun atau meningkatnya tekanan darahsistolik pada lansia adalah komplikasi penyakit. Secara bersama-sama, aspek fisikdan aspek psikososial ternyata tidak berperan dalam menentukan tekanan darahsistolik lansia.
