Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan memperlihatkan representasi tokoh perempuan dominan dalam alih wahana dari novel ke seri televisi Game of Thrones. Metode deskriptif analisis dengan teori feminisme tentang gender digunakan untuk melihat bagaimana tokoh-tokoh perempuan tersebut merepresentasikan ide perempuan sebagai bentuk perempuan dominan. Dari hasil analisis tampak bahwa seri televisi menggambarkan perempuan-perempuan sebagai tokoh yang lebih mandiri, simpatik dan cerdas dibandingkan novel.

This analysis aims to show the representation of dominant female characters in the adaptation from the novel to the television series Game of Thrones. Descriptive analytical method with feminism theory about gender are used to see how the female characters represent the idea of ??women as a form of dominant women. From the analysis, it appears that the television series depict women as more independent, sympathetic and more intelligent characters than the novel.
