[ ABSTRAK Tabloid Suara Islam memiliki budaya organisasi yang terbentuk dari nilai-nilai religius, dalam hal ini nilai-nilai dalam agama Islam. Salah satu penerapan nilai tersebut telihat pada penetapan aturan untuk jurnalis perempuan. Penetapan aturan khusus untuk jurnalis perempuan dilatarbelakangi oleh kesadaran akan peran perempuan sebagai ibu dan penanggung jawab rumah tangga. Kedua peran ini menjadi tantangan bagi perempuan yang bekerja sebagai jurnalis karena adanya waktu kerja yang fleksibel dan dinamis. Tabloid Suara Islam berusaha mengakomodasi kedua peran ini dengan meletakkan nilai-nilai kasih sayang, perlindungan, dan kepemimpinan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah wawancara dan observasi. Hasilnya, dari nilai-nilai tersebut terbentuk peraturan-peraturan khusus bagi jurnalis perempuan. Peraturan tersebut antara lain tidak adanya penugasan liputan malam hari, tidak adanya penugasan ke luar kota bagi perempuan yang memiliki anak balita dan pendampingan terhadap jurnalis perempuan jika meliput ke luar kota. Aturan lain adalah pemberian cuti hamil selama empat bulan bagi jurnalis perempuan dan adanya konsensus mengenai kepemimpinan perempuan.; ABSTRACTTabloid Suara Islam has an organization culture based on religious values, in this case, Islam. The awareness of woman’s domestic function, as mother and the one who is responsible of household, determines the making of those rules. The domestic function becomes such a challenge for woman who works as journalist which has dinamic and flexibility of timework. Tabloid Suara Islam is trying to accommodate both of those roles by placing consideration in affection, protection, and leadership values. The methods used in this research are literature study, observation, and interview. This research gives result that the values believed by Tabloid Suara Islam have impacts in media rules’s making, especially the work rules of woman journalist.
