[ABSTRAK Makalah ini membahas mengenai register dokter di video Youtube berjudul Het Spreekuur Sint Andriesziekenhuis Tielt. Register dokter diamati melalui percakapan antara dokter Clara dengan Katty. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Penulis menggunakan data berupa video Het Spreekuur Sint Andriesziekenhuis Tielt yang diunduh dari Youtube, kemudian dianalisis dari faktor field, tenor, dan mode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa field yang ditemukan dalam video membahas mengenai penyakit kista yang dialami Katty. Tenornya yaitu dokter Clara dan Katty. Mode yang digunakan di dalam video tersebut adalah ragam bahasa akrab. Ragam bahasa akrab digunakan oleh dokter Clara ketika sedang melakukan interaksi dengan Katty. Cara komunikasi antara 2 peserta tuturan tergantung dengan latar belakang sosial dan pendidikan masing-masing peserta. Apabila seorang dokter dan pasiennya memiliki latarbelakang sosial dan pendidikan yang berbeda, sang dokter akan menyesuaikan atau mengubah cara komunikasinya dengan mengurangi penggunaan kosakata medis. ABSTRACT This article discusses the registers of physician at Youtube‟s Het Spreekuur Sint Andriesziekenhuis Tielt. The register of physicians can be identified by analyzing the conversations between doctor Clara and Katty. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. The data, taken from the Youtube, namely Het Spreekuur Sint Andriesziekenhuis Tielt is then being analyzed by using the theory of field, tenor, and mode. The field of the video is the cysts disease, suffered by Katty. Doctor Clara and Katty play a role in the tenor. The intimate languageis used the whole time by doctor Clara while interacting with Katty. The mode of speech being used between two participants, depend on the social and educational background of each participant.
