[Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker di PT. Glaxo Wellcome Indonesia (GWI) bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mempelajari penerapan CPOB di dalam industri farmasi.Selain itu, mengetahui dan memahami peran dan tanggung jawab apoteker di dalam industri farmasi. PT. GWI merupakan salah satu contoh industri farmasiasing yang tergabung dalam kelompok perusahaan GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). Perusahaan ini bergerak dalam bidang produksi, importasi, dan distribusi sediaansediaan, baik sediaan steril maupun non-steril. Sediaan farmasi yang dihasilkan antara lain sediaan solid (tablet, kaplet), sediaan semi solid (gel, krim, salep), dan sediaan cair (sirup). PT. GWI telah menerapkan pedoman Cara Pembuatan Obat yang Baik (CPOB) untuk semua proses baik dalam proses produksi, pengawasandan pemastian mutu, serta kegiatan lain yang terkait. Aspek-aspek CPOB tersebut telah diimplementasikan dan didokumentasikan dengan baik. Tugas khusus yang diberikan berjudul Pembuatan Manufacturing Batch Record Format Baru untuk Produk Tablet Allopurinol 100 mg, Tablet Allopurinol 300 mg, dan Tablet Salbutamol 2 mg. Tujuan dari tugas khusus ini yaitu untuk membuatmanufacturing batch record format baru untuk produk tablet allopurinol 100 mg, tablet allopurinol 300 mg, dan tablet salbutamol 2 mg yang sederhana (tidak adaduplikasi pencatatan), lengkap, dan sesuai dengan persyaratan dokumentasi CPOB., Pharmacist professional practice in PT. Glaxo Wellcome Indonesia (GWI) aims to identify and study the application of GMP in the pharmaceutical industry. Inaddition, aims to know and to understand the roles and responsibilities of pharmacists in the pharmaceutical industry. PT. GWI is one example of the foreign pharmaceutical industry who is a member of the GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) group of companies. The company is engaged in the production, importation, and distribution of preparations, both sterile and non-sterile preparations. Pharmaceutical preparations produced include solid preparations (tablets, caplets),semi-solid preparations (gels, creams, ointments), and liquid preparations (syrup). PT. GWI has implemented the guidelines of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)for all process of production, supervision, and quality assurance, as well as other related activities. GMP aspects are implemented and documented. The givenspecial assignment titled The Making of Manufacturing Batch Records New Format for Products of Allopurinol 100 mg Tablets, Allopurinol 300 mg Tablets, and Salbutamol 2 mg Tablets.
