[ABSTRAK Reformasi birokrasi bagi Kementerian Lembaga dan Pemerintah Daerah dimaksudkan antara lain untuk mendorong terwujudnya organisasi yang efektif dan efisien Salah satu cara untuk mewujudkannya adalah dengan memanfaatkan kekayaan pengetahuan yang dimiliki oleh organisasi tersebut termasuk belajar dari pengalaman pengalaman di masa lampau Saat ini Badan Pengawas Perdagangan Berjangka Komoditi Bappebti mengalami permasalahan terkait pengelolaan pengetahuan organisasi yang menyebabkan terhambatnya proses transfer dan berbagi pengetahuan antar pegawai Bappebti Dari segi usia terdapat kesenjangan yang signifikan antar pegawai Bappebti sebagai akibat berhentinya proses rekrutmen pegawai selama 8 tahun Hal tersebut menimbulkan kesenjangan pengetahuan dan pengalaman antara pegawai baru dan pegawai yang telah lama bekerja Oleh sebab itu perlu adanya sistem manajemen pengetahuan knowledge management system untuk mendukung manajemen pengetahuan dan sebagai fasilitas untuk transfer dan berbagi pengetahuan antar pegawai Bappebti Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi solusi manajemen pengetahuan yang digabungkan dengan metodologi system prototyping Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah rancangan sistem manajemen pengetahuan beserta prototipe yang telah di uji coba untuk dapat dikembangkan dan diimplementasikan di Bappebti Sistem manajemen pengetahuan yang dirancang memiliki fitur wiki manajemen dokumen e learning blog dan forum diskusi online untuk mendukung proses manajemen pengetahuan yang akan dikembangkan dengan prioritas yaitu combination exchange internalization socialization for knowledge sharing dan externalization.
