[Teknologi Informasi Komunikasi merupakan terminologi yang mencakup tentang keseluruhan teknis untuk menjelaskan proses dan penyampaian informasi. Penggunaan Teknologi Informasi Komunikasi sangat membantu dalam setiap kegiatan yang memiliki data dan informasi untuk diproses dan diolah. Dalam bidang kesehatan yang terdiri dari data dan informasi juga memerlukan penggunaan Teknologi Informasi Komunikasi dalam penerapannya. Hal ini didukung dengan kebijakan tentang kesehatan yang mencakup penerapan Teknologi Informasi Komunikasi di dalamnya antara lain Undang-Undang No.36 dan Keputusan Menteri Kesehatan RI No.192. Dengan adanya kebijakan-kebijakan kesehatan tersebut perlu diketahui seberapa besar kebijakan kesehatan tersebut telah diterapkan untuk membantu peningkatan pelayanan kesehatan di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan kebijakan tersebut yaitu dilakukan analisa kesenjangan antara setiap strategi Teknologi Informasi Komunikasi yang dimiliki oleh kebijakan kesehatan dengan kebutuhan strategi Teknologi Informasi Komunikasi yang didapatkan dari hasil analisa permasalahan setiap fasilitas kesehatan. Sedangkan metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan untuk mendapatkan data tentang pelayanan kesehatan pada masing-masing fasilitas kesehatan yaitu metode wawancara. Dari hasil kesenjangan tersebut dapat diketahui Sistem Informasi Kesehatan apa yang diperlukan untuk meningkatkan pelayanan kesehatan sekaligus mengatasi permasalahan fasilitas kesehatan. Adapun hasil dari analisa Sistem Informasi Kesehatan yang dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan pelayanan kesehatan sekaligus mengatasi permasalahan fasilitas kesehatan antara lain Sistem Informasi Nomor Identitas Kesehatan, Sistem Informasi Rekam Medis Terpadu dan Sistem Informasi Rujukan Medis Terpadu. Information Communication Technology is a term that includes overall technical term to explain the process and delivery of information. Usage of Information Communication Technology is helpful in any activities that have data and information required to proceed and inform. In the health sector that consists of information and data also requires the use of ICT in its application. This is supported by health policy that includes the application of Information Communication Technology in it, among others, National Policy Number 36 and Policy by Minister of Health Number 192. With the health policies are need to know how big the health policy has been implemented to help improve health services in Indonesia. The method used to determine how the implementation of these policies is to analyze the gap between each strategy ICT owned by health policies with the needs of Information Communication Technology strategy that results obtained from the analysis of the problem every health facility. While the data collection methods used to obtain data on health services at each health facility is the method of interview. From the results of this gap can be known what the Health Information System is needed to improve health services and overcome the problems of health facilities.
