| ndonesian children learn the rules governing attitudes and utterances--the politeness strategies--in their community through the process language acquisition. They use mainly the positive politeness. It it found that Indonesian preschoolers use different politeness strategies towards different participants at school, based on age, social distance, and authority scales for expressing their requests. |
