This study is about the readiness and willingness of stakeholders to upgrade slum areas through the construction of flats. The results of this study are expected to provide more information and new ideas on the subject. The study includes four principal issues, namely the readiness of local governments in providing a flat area; willingness of the developer in the construction of flats; willingness of agencies to support the construction of flats, and the willingness of the people living in the slums to occupy flats. The study was concluded in Semarang.The conclusion of this study is that in general the stakeholders (local government, Developer, PLN, PDAM, Society) has the readiness to rejuvenate rundown areas through the construction of flats. In order to rejuvenate, it is required cooperation and incentives. In addition, some recommendatios need to be followed up that is the socialization and coordination on planning and implementation of regional rejuvenation through the flats so that each stakeholder understands and support the steps that can be implemented in a secure, peaceful and constitutional. |
