| IT has already had an impact on most organizations. In the 1990s new issues are emerging as new developments continue to propel us into a future in which IT will play an increasingly important part. Simultaneously more information is becoming readily available to everyone, the roles of professions are changing and the traditional boundaries between professionals are being broken down. PT Timah has recently completed several major implementation of modern information systems and is beginning to face some of the difficult issues which are arising as a result of the success of the project. |
