Abstract
The Indonesian government uses creative economy strategic in the economic development of Indonesia. Creative economic development is done through intensification of information and creativity of ideas, and knowledge of human resources as a factor of production. Information is a critical asset in development. The success of development is influenced by various parties including the 'informed observers'. Archive as one source of information and archival institutions as one of the information service providers have an important role in development. Archives can be utilized through a variety of programs to build the creative economy.
