| The purpose of this article is to examine the spatio-temporal aspect of the working force enganged in manufacturing, household and agricultural activities in India. The objectives are four-fold: (I) to measure the mean point shifts of workers employed in manufacturing, household and agricultural activities since 1951, (ii) to map analyse the spatial distribution of different types of working force, (iii) to measure, analyse and map the future probable trend of working force in India, and (iv) to assess the intensity of working force. |
