Abstract
The current trends in the examinaton of the role of media in bridging differences between the islamic and the western world indicate thet there is a concerted effort to strengthen the role of mass media as tools against war, violence and unrest. This article examines the many ways the media could and should become an integral part of peacekeeping efoorts.
