This paper aims to provide an overview of the traces of the cultural activity in the Plantations of Cisalak Baru-Bantarjaya, Regency of Lebak. The traces of the cultural activities can be tracked and assessed through some old buildings as the remains of material culture in the site and the surrounding gardens. The assessment is done using survey research methods which are equipped with data collection techniques such as interviews. The achieved results are that there is a variety of old buildings found with architectural of Indies style or Indo-European style. Several types of those buildings function as building houses,offices,factories, and others. Meanwhile, the cultural activities that take place are daily activities and economic activities or business plantations. Daily activities are characterized by residential or settlement buildings, while economic activity is indicated by the presence of factories and office buildings. |
