The research objective is to know the rank of state universities in Indonesia and its library by using Webometrics Rankings of world universities and web impact factor parameter, then analyze correlation between the rank of state universities in Indonesia and its library rank from both of parameters and also analyze correlation between WRWU rank with WIF rank at the state university libraries in Indonesia. This research using quantitative approach by means of webometrics analysis technical with using WRWU and WIF parameter. Research of the population is all of universities in Indonesia with sample 49 domain sites of university and its library. Data was obtained through search engine on May 19th 2011. The result shows that the highest rank based on WRWU parameter for the state university is The University of Gadjah Mada and for the library is Diponegoro University Library. The highest rank based of WIF parameter is State University of Surabaya while for library is the Bengkulu University. The results of correlation analysis shows that there is strong relation between the rank of State Universities in Indonesia with its library rank based of WRWU parameter, there is very low relation between the rank of state universities in Indonesia with the rank its library based of WIF parameter and also there is significant relationship between the rank of WRWU parameter with WIF parameter of State Universities Libraries in Indonesia. |
